Terms of service
These terms cover the systems AppBay builds, hosts and looks after for businesses, including our own products Sanad and Retail POS. They are written to be read. If anything here is unclear, ask us.
1. Who we are

2. Your account and your staff
- Your business has its own account, with its own database, staff and passwords.
- You decide who on your staff can do what. You are responsible for what is done under your staff's sign-ins, so keep passwords private and remove people who leave.
- If you think a password has leaked, tell us straight away. We can reset the owner's password once we are sure it is you asking.
3. Your data is yours
Everything your business enters stays yours. We keep it only to run the system for you. We do not sell it, show advertising, or use it for anything else. You can ask for a full copy at any time.
4. Subscription and payment
- The price, the period (monthly or yearly) and what is included are what we agreed with you in writing.
- Subscriptions are paid in advance. If a payment is late we will remind you. If it stays unpaid after the grace period we agreed, we may pause the account until it is paid. Nothing is deleted while an account is paused.
5. Keeping it running
- Our systems run on our own servers in Germany, are watched from outside around the clock, and receive security updates automatically. The server restarts briefly at about 4 a.m. for those updates.
- Retail POS keeps selling when the internet is down: sales are saved on the till and upload themselves when the connection returns.
- We work hard to keep everything available, but no service can promise it will never stop. We are not responsible for losses caused by an interruption beyond the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it.
6. Backups
Every night we copy your data to separate storage and keep those copies for 30 days. If something goes wrong, we restore from them. Restoring is part of the service.
7. Fair use
Do not use the systems for anything illegal, do not try to reach another business's data, and do not resell access without agreeing it with us first.
8. Ending the subscription
- Either side can end the subscription with 30 days' notice.
- For 90 days after it ends you can ask for a full copy of your data. After that we delete it from our servers, and the last backup copies expire within a further 30 days.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we will tell you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
10. Disagreements
We will always try to settle a problem by talking first. These terms are governed by the laws in force in Palestine.
